Role Description
Applications are invited from teachers with BC Certification for the following teaching position:
Sunset Elementary School, Port McNeill, BC
1.0 FTE Temporary – Intermediate Classroom Teacher
Commencing: September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027
or return of the incumbent, whichever comes first
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- intermediate teaching experience;
- strong classroom management skills;
- the ability and energy to work with multi-age groups and meet the needs of students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching strategies;
- strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning;
