Role Description
Job Summary
We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to join the primary care and urgent care team at Heiltsuk Hospital in BellaBella. The NP will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred primary care to the people of Heiltsuk Nation and BellaBella.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive assessment of patients and clients, diagnosing diseases, disorders and conditions.
- Initiate treatment including health‑care management, therapeutic interventions and prescribe medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards, limits, conditions, and employer policies and procedures.
- Provide professional guidance to other health professionals and participate autonomously as a member of the interdisciplinary health team.
