Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Master Chief/Officer to join our dynamic Maritime team in a full time, fixed term role until the 12th of December 2026. Not only will you be actively engaged in face-to-face teaching on our Nelson Campus, but you will also contribute to the coordination of the programme.
Our team of expert academics are all about giving their best to see our ākonga (students) succeed while providing learning that is responsive to the needs of the Maritime industry.
Responsibilities
- Planning, organising and assessing course content, resources and materials for the Diploma in Nautical Science, Skipper FV limited and Unlimited, Mate FV Limited and Unlimited
- Engaging with ākonga in a face-to-face learning environment
- Managing learner progress toward completion of qualifications
