Role Description
An engineering firm seeks an Accounting Clerk to join its team in Gloucester, East Ottawa. This onsite role covers invoicing, vendor relations, and project accounting during a maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience, particularly in a project-focused environment. You'll be responsible for generating invoices, managing collections, and ensuring financial compliance on projects. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential to effectively support office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate timely customer invoices and manage collections
• Process and reconcile vendor invoices and payments
• Support project managers in tracking budgets and costs
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting roles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
