Position: Permanent / Full-Time Responsibilities Provide rapid, expert assessment and management of patients presenting with cancer-related emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Manage acute oncological conditions (e.g. neutropenic sepsis, spinal cord compression, hypercalcaemia, tumour lysis syndrome) within 24 hours or at first clinical review, in line with best practice guidelines. Ensure full compliance with UKONS Acute Oncology Management Guidelines to optimise patient safety and outcomes. Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and seamless transitions between inpatient, outpatient, and community services.
