Role Description
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Possesses considerable knowledge of machinery in order to diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair Aerospace Ground Equipment either in the field or in a shop environment, with little supervision. Performs service, maintenance, repair and overhaul in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
+ Interfaces with New York Air National Guard (NYANG) and US Air Force (USAF) personnel on a daily basis.
+ Provides flight line services as required.
+ Performs work as specified on work orders or initiates work orders when required.
+ Ensures work performed is in accordance with established procedures and/or manufacturer's specifications.
+ Routinely overhauls, repairs or maintains gasoline and diesel-powered equipment.
+ Uses diagnostic equipment and procedures to diagnose and correct equipment faults.
+ Inspects lift equipment and determines safe operability prior to issue.
