Duties
Perform daily and periodic inspections, maintenance and certification of air cushion vehicles (ACVs) to maintain certification and validity of flight permits in accordance with seaworthiness manuals, the Canada Shipping Act, 2001 (CSA, 2001) and the high speed code. This work is carried out under the authority delegated by the ACV Maintenance Engineer certificate issued by Transport Canada (TC) in accordance with TC requirements. Perform unscheduled or unexpected maintenance following a systems inspection, a failure, incident or malfunction report by crews or technicians, or a new or revised seaworthiness directive or service bulletin.
