Air Freight Specialist

SUMMARY

This role is responsible for coordinating trucking services and supporting end-to-end customer needs, including booking, tracking, documentation, and communication with carriers and customers. The role ensures shipments move smoothly and on time by managing documentation, updating systems, and proactively resolving issues. This position requires strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support seamless operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond promptly to all phone calls and emails, including pickup requests, rate inquiries, service updates, and general customer needs.
• Search for carriers, negotiate rates, and confirm bookings based on service and cost requirements.
• Track and trace shipments in transit, provide proactive status updates, and resolve service issues or delays.
