Role Description
Join a dynamic team as an Apprentice Electrician at the Thunder Bay Terminal. This role focuses on the timely maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
As a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Electrician, you will perform essential tasks including troubleshooting, equipment repair, and installation within a busy terminal environment. Your responsibilities will also involve basic PLC programming and effective communication with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth terminal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to plant trouble calls promptly
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
• Install and repair control panels and fixtures
• Develop basic PLC programming in ladder logic
• Maintain accurate administrative documents
Requirements:
• Two years of industrial experience
• Journeyperson Industrial Electrician certificate is an asset
• Ability to work independently in a team setting
