AQP Engineer

Lead quality planning activities within Hussmann’s NPI/COD/VAVE/Sourcing processes and the project team to insure effective quality planning is taking place during product development, sourcing, Manufacturing Assessment builds (MAB) and launch.

1. Facilitate and lead AIAG AQP activities in NPI process and in other product changes. Represent the Operations team in ongoing project review meetings. During those meetings, this role will be responsible for confirming completion of Operations related deliverables or raising objections to and escalating issues that would interfere with quality or manufacturing performance.

2. Engage with project teams to ensure on time delivery of product quality plans to address NUDs, CTQs, and Check fixture risks resulting from product changes and launches. Facilitate design reviews with the operations teams to identify and address manufacturing and quality defic...
