Working with the Town of Newmarket’s Recreation and Culture Team means an opportunity to make a difference and connect with your community. This role involves delivering high‑quality programs, events, and services, and creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Support the instructor in running fun, engaging, and inclusive swim lessons. Follow direction on how to utilize training and formations to ensure lessons are safe.
• Work with instructors to focus on key participants to ensure their ongoing success and meet Lifesaving Society’s “Must See” standards.
• Use excellent customer service skills to resolve conflicts or concerns from program participants and the public, or refer issues to appropriate staff.
