Become an Assistant Coach with Special Olympics Ontario and enrich the lives of Softball D athletes. Volunteer your time to create impactful sporting experiences!
Special Olympics Ontario is recruiting dedicated volunteers for the Softball D team based in London. Your commitment of 2 hours each Thursday evening, from May 21 to August 27, will provide an enriching experience for athletes with intellectual disabilities. While previous softball experience is welcome, the primary goal is to foster a supportive environment where athletes can learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support athletes in developing fielding skills
• Conduct weekly practice sessions on Thursday nights
• Help the team during games and tournaments
• Interact positively with athletes and their families
• Encourage teamwork and sportsmanship among participants

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old
