Role Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting:
- Keep Balance Sheet reconciliation up to date. Ensure that adjustments are made on a timely basis.
- Ensure all books and records are maintained in a concise, easily understood manner.
- Count General Cashier’s safe weekly as required by SOP.
- With the General Cashier, count Cashiers safe at least twice each month on a surprise basis.
- Ensure monthly closing is performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all reporting to HO, Owners and Departments are produced and sent out in a timely and accurate manner.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Organise monthly P&L critique meetings with all departments. Help departments develop action plans for variances to Budget. Bring exceptions to notice of FC.
