Purpose

As Assistant Manager, you will help drive an efficient and effective Regulatory Reporting & Control function within Global Wholesale Operations. You will execute daily and periodic monitoring controls, identify and investigate exceptions, and support projects/initiatives to promote operational effectiveness aligned with GWOs business strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Ensure BNS trade reporting activities comply with governing regulations and business requirements in all Scotiabank operating areas (CFTC, SEC, CTR, ESMA, FCA, MAS, HKMA, ASIC, FR2420, MiFID II, IIROC, CIRO, CAT/CAIS, SFTR, SMMD, Electronic Bluesheets).
