Role Description

The Department of Oncology, in partnership with the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute and the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, invites applications for a tenure‑track position at the Assistant Professor level in genitourinary (GU) cancer translational medicine. Research approaches may include immunotherapeutics, theranostics, multi‑omic analyses, or computational methods for detection, characterization, and treatment of GU cancers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research in GU cancer translational medicine.
  • Develop an internationally recognised extramurally funded research program with 75% protected time.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary investigators, including Urology, and access patient tissue and fluid samples through the established biobank.
  • Contribute to teaching and graduate student supervision.
