Overview

Cogir Senior Living manages retirement residences across Canada, offering independent living, assisted living and memory care. We are looking for an experienced nurse to lead the health and wellness team as Associate Health and Wellness Manager, combining clinical practice with staff management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide daily operations of the nursing department.
• Participate in Care Conferences and engage residents and families to address concerns.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule, supervise and evaluate clinical team members; apply disciplinary processes in partnership with the Health and Wellness Manager and Executive Director.
• Oversee compliance of resident‑care staff with company policies, safety regulations and work practices.
• Ensure adherence to provincial and federal acts and regulations, including the Health Disciplines Act, Human Rights Code and College of Nurses Standards.
