Overview

As a member of the Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for the processing of mortgage renewals and assumptions across Eastern Canada. As the Associate of Real Estate Finance, you will manage a commercial mortgage portfolio and liaise with internal partners. You will perform due diligence on borrowers, bonds, and property information provided by clients and account managers.

Responsibilities

• Process mortgage renewals and assumptions across Eastern Canada.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of a commercial mortgage portfolio.
• Conduct due diligence of borrowers, bonds, and property information provided by clients and account managers.
• Prepare credit applications for submission to the CIBC Risk Management Unit.
• Execute loan administration processes, including renewals and annual reviews.
