Automated Sawmill Equipment Operator

Become an Automated Sawmill Equipment Operator with hands-on experience in lumber processing. You'll examine logs, saw, trim and plane lumber while operating controls in either morning, evening, or weekend shifts.
This role requires no formal education and offers training for all skill levels. You will learn to operate machinery from control rooms, ensuring the highest quality cuts from logs and rough lumber. Opportunities for overtime are also available, making this a flexible position in the timber industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine logs to determine optimal cuts
• Operate equipment from control rooms and consoles
• Saw, trim, and plane lumber to specified sizes
• Maintain and lubricate sawmill machines
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
Requirements:
• No degree, certificate, or diploma needed
