Automotive HIL Engineer - Automotive Sector (Relocation Sweden or Polony) (La Serena)

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of how next‑generation vehicles are tested, validated, and brought to life. We’re looking for a Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) Engineer who enjoys building, integrating, and continuously improving complex test environments.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain HIL rigs at component and domain levels
• Lead integration activities across multiple product areas
• Commission, configure, and validate HIL test objects
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware‑related issues (wiring, harnesses, simulation elements)
• Manage ECU updates and component configurations
• Develop and enhance network simulations (gateways, signal manipulation, etc.)
• Execute manual software downloads for core ECUs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field
