Avp - Finance Planning & Stress Testing

Mexico Finance Control team is responsible for reporting commitments to the Mexican Banking & Securities Commission, the Mexican Central Bank, the Mexican Ministry of Finance, and the Mexican equivalent to the US FDIC (IPAB).
Barclays Mexico has different legal entities which are regulated.
Overall purpose of role
As an AVP in the Finance team, the major functions of the job are:
- With the supervision of the VP in charge of Capital and Liquidity reporting, the AVP will take over the Finance Planning & Stress testing activities such as:
- Planning and Execution of the overall Capital and Liquidity Stress testing exercise for Barclays Mexico from a FP&ST stand point, liaising with Risk, Finance and Treasury in order to achieve the completion of the annual stress test process.
- Prepare the Middle Term Plan (annual budget) for Barclays Mexico, including monthly and ad-hoc reports of budget/MTP performance vs actuals.
