The Opportunity

As a Health Care Aide, you will work as a member of the care team, collaborating on the delivery of resident care. The Health Care Aide, under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, applies their knowledge and skills to provide a wide variety of safe and thorough basic care and services to residents.

What You Will Do

• Work to your full scope of practice and provide resident-focused care.
• Observe residents for any changes in status during tub bathing, washing, cleaning, dressing, and changing. Report any changes in the resident’s condition to the staff nurse as soon as possible.
• Participate in the development of the Nursing Care Plan (NCP) by sharing observations, information, and knowledge of the residents’ needs and strengths.
