Role Description
Join the Mâwacihitowinihk Nikamowak Indigenous Music Residency at Banff Centre from November 16 to December 4, 2026. This three-week program is dedicated to the artistic development of Indigenous musicians.
Open to diverse genres, this residency encourages Indigenous vocalists, rappers, and instrumentalists to refine their nearly finished works with expert guidance. Participants will collaborate closely with faculty and engage with the Banff Centre’s audio production team. This program supports the presentation of music in a connecting and sacred space, fostering community and creativity among artists.
