Bilingual Associate Mortgage Underwriter (French required)

What You’ll Do

• Review and analyze mortgage applications for completeness, accuracy, and risk
• Apply underwriting guidelines to approve, decline, or structure mortgage solutions
• Communicate decisions clearly and professionally to broker partners in both English and French
• Manage a pipeline of files ranging from straightforward to more complex cases
• Maintain turnaround times and service standards in a fast paced environment
• Stay current on underwriting policies, lending guidelines, and market developments

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
• Experience in mortgage underwriting or financial services is an asset
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
