Role Description
You will report to the V.P. of the Quarry Division or the V.P. of the Civil Engineering Division.
Salary : According to CCQ (Quebec Construction Commission) rates.
Blasting operations on various construction sites across Quebec;
Blasting in urban environments with nearby buildings;
Blasting using blasting mats;
Lead and execute blasting operations;
Complete and submit operation reports;
Follow safe work practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3–5 years of blasting experience;
Hold a valid general explosives permit.
SKILLS
You have a valid driver’s license;
You have good physical strength;
You are dynamic and energetic;
You are resourceful and autonomous;
You are reliable and responsible;
You are a team player and respectful of others.
