Family Services York Region (FSYR) is on the lookout for an experienced Treasurer to provide critical financial oversight and leadership. This position focuses on improving financial policies, enhancing internal capacity, and ensuring alignment with community trust. Collaborate closely with the Board and CEO to tackle financial challenges and support long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Uphold fiduciary duties and provide accurate financial reports
• Identify financial risks and support budgeting improvements
• Lead policy development and strengthen financial controls
• Foster financial literacy at the Board level
• Mentor senior leadership on financial matters
Requirements:
• CPA designation highly preferred
