Description

Responsibilities include:

Manage Packaging and Customer Directed Buy decks

Support Achievement of annual SCM direct material cost targets

Meet/exceed individual cost savings target

Nominate qualified new suppliers to cross-functional team for review and consideration

Quote and source all responsible components to meet/exceed Product Line business case and timing requirements utilizing the Total Acquisition Cost Model

Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain Directed Buy contracts.

Monitor and track supplier performance and initiate actions to improve as appropriate

Schedule and participate in VAVE workshops

Develop and maintain commodity strategies

Act as market specialist for his/her commodities

Make commercial agreements with suppliers

Resolve commercial issues with suppliers
