Capacity Install Technician, ID Install Team

AWS is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. Our Infrastructure team is responsible for day-to-day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work and capacity management. This technician will be involved with installation and troubleshooting of structured cabling, management of infrastructure inventory levels, physical installation of network and server racks and/or devices, and management of data center services vendors. This position requires the successful candidate to report to a site location.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords
• Work with a partner to move enterprise equipment from loading docks
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
