Caretaker

Edison Properties is seeking a Caretaker who is responsible to maintain the interior and exterior of their assigned property, to ensure that it looks attractive, is clean and is in safe and operational condition. The Caretaker reports to the Resident Manager and will be a support to the Resident Manager as required. They live on‑site and are responsible for on‑call duties on rotation with the Resident Manager.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments as required
• Answer phone, handle inquiries when Resident Manager is unavailable or away for short periods of time.
• All other duties as may be assigned by the Resident Manager

Security

• Enforce “no parking” zones
• Check security of building
• Respond to any or all emergency related problems as requested by the Resident Manager
• Lock/unlock laundry rooms/pool areas as required
