Job Description

The Educator-Clinical conveys basic through advanced knowledge in field of expertise and conducts well planned, organized and relevant competency-based unit/department orientation and education programs for new and existing staff based on individualized learning needs and unit/department-specific functions and patient population served.

Applies principles of adult learning to education processes and modifies as needed to accommodate for generational differences. Works side-by-side with staff to effectively train and assess staff's progress towards established learning outcomes and level of performance. Provides real-time feedback to staff and demonstrates the ability to turn successes and failures into meaningful training moments.
