Role Description
Enhance community safety as a casual Bylaw Services Officer with the District of Lake Country, BC. This flexible position requires evening and weekend shifts to manage public concerns and enforce municipal laws.
In this role, you’ll work with the Manager of Bylaw and Building Services, addressing public inquiries, resolving complaints, and enforcing the bylaws diligently. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication skills to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond diplomatically to public inquiries on bylaws
• Maintain records and process community complaints
• Inspect properties related to business licenses
• Issue orders, notices, and citations as necessary
• Participate in community events fostering public safety
Requirements:
• At least two years of work experience in enforcement or police services
• Minimum one year of relevant post-secondary education
• Certification in Bylaw Enforcement & Investigative Skills Levels...
