Category Manager, IT- Global Indirect Procurement

JOB SUMMARY

The Category Manager, IT, is responsible for developing, executing, and managing corporate sourcing initiatives for indirect procurement, and on behalf of the Global Indirect Procurement organization. He/She will perform complex data analysis to identify new sourcing and other cost optimization opportunities in order to generate cost savings and risk mitigation for categories managed. Primary Categories would include but are not limited to: Global IT hardware- Network equipment, personal compute, SaaS/Cloud/Enterprise software, IT Infrastructure, managed service providers, software maintenance, licensing, Data/AI initiatives, and IT Implementation Services. He/She is responsible for negotiating complex/competitive programs and communicating to stakeholders and Sr Management the value propositions associated with Category proposals.
