Chairperson, Board of Directors

Toronto Metropolitan Students' Union (TMSU) is seeking a candidate for the position of Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

The Chairperson (Chair) provides leadership to the students' union Board of Directors, guiding the Board to fulfill stewardship responsibilities and supporting a culture of active and constructive engagement. They serve as the primary spokesperson for the Board, and as a direct liaison between the Board of Directors, the President and Management.

This is a part-time contract position with a time commitment of 2 to 10 hours per week. The purpose and responsibilities of the Chair are described in TMSU By-Law 4.8 and throughout the TMSU Policies Handbook.
