Child Caregiver – Private Home

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive supervision for infants and children and maintain consistent daily routines.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring comfort and appropriate hygiene standards.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks and support children’s eating routines.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods and support healthy sleep routines.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development through daily guidance and age-appropriate activities.
• Organize activities such as games and outings that support development, engagement, and learning.
• Discipline children according to parental methods and communicate observations professionally.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including childcare-related tidying and cleaning.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents to ensure continuity of care.
