Role Description

The City Fleet Generalist (CFG) is responsible for providing support to all positions within the city team.The primary focus will be support for city dispatchers and planners while monitoring the assigned fleet, looking and acting upon opportunities to improve Driver productivity, equipment utilization, inactivity at customer’s pools and yard utilization.The incumbent will possess strong leadership skills and will utilize their dispatch and planning expertise to analyze and identify process improvement opportunities to create efficiencies within the city team. The CFG will work closely with all teams within Bison, continually assessing established processes by recognizing current and potential issues and needs.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Determine city pool requirements for the day and communicate to planning teams.
  • Support and/or complete yard audits while communicating/solving inaccuracies.
