Role Description
Summary of responsibilities
Under the supervision of the CSA Director (Civil, Structural & Architectural), the selected candidate will be part of the team dedicated to the engineering of light and heavy industrial buildings. More specifically, they will be responsible for:
- Design and prepare calculation notes for concrete structures in heavy industrial buildings.
- Design and prepare calculation notes for steel structures in heavy industrial buildings.
- Review and assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings, design specifications, standard documents and engineering reports.
- Follow-up with site construction, steel fabricators and review shop drawings.
- Check 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability issues with other disciplines.
- Participate in the preparation of estimates, bills of quantities, schedules and budgets.
