Civil-Structural Engineer
Summary of responsibilities
- Design and prepare calculation notes for concrete structures in heavy industrial buildings.
- Design and prepare calculation notes for steel structures in heavy industrial buildings.
- Review and assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, design specifications, standard documents and engineering reports.
- Follow-up with site construction, steel fabricators and review shop drawings.
- Check 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability issues with other disciplines.
- Participate in the preparation of estimates, bills of quantities, schedules and budgets.
- Ensure plans comply with guidelines, building code requirements, and other national and international standards and regulations.
- Prepare and monitor progress of construction schedules.
