In accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of practice and the Mission and Values of Fraser Health, the Clinical Nurse Educator utilizes evidence-informed practice and education theory to develop educational programs that will achieve the most effective outcomes, and deliver formal group or individual educational activities to staff and patients/clients/residents/families. Measures education plan success and amends plans accordingly. Participates in research, policy, quality improvement, and risk management activities. The Clinical Nurse Educator performs their duties within a unit, hospital, program and/or regional focus and may be required to work at multiple sites across Fraser Health.
