Role Description
Job Purpose
The Psychologist Leader is clinical leadership work in the field of psychology, employees provide support, guidance, and advice on clinical practice.
Qualifications
Must be licensed as a Psychologist under the New Brunswick College of Psychologists and have progressive related work experience (3 years) in which leadership ability and competency as a psychologist has been demonstrated.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure services provided are consistent with professional scope of practice.
- Provide clinical support to Psychologists.
- Provide guidance and advise to staff, management, and stakeholders regarding clinical practice.
- Monitor, assign and review work.
- Perform administrative duties such as overseeing day to day operations, participating in staff recruitment, assisting in performance management, statistical activities, and committee work.
- Perform clinical work.
