Permanent Role With A Local Authority Job Purpose To carry out the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of commercial vehicles and associated equipment to a high professional standard, ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy and compliant with relevant legislation and operational requirements. The postholder will contribute to the effective maintenance of the fleet service through efficient working practices and high-quality technical support. Key Responsibilities Inspect, service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles, plant and associated equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and legislative requirements. Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and technical information.
