• Responsible for the management of assigned commodities and suppliers including annual price negotiations.
• Responsible for component and supplier sourcing strategies for assigned product group.
• Provides cost and quality wise favorable quotations for required materials out of the NAFTA market.
• Lead supplier selection for the NAFTA region.
• Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centers and product teams.
• Cost reduction for new purchased parts and sub‑assemblies by early supplier involvement and by working with the respective Customer Team Buyer(s).
