Communications Officer

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of the McGill Office of Sustainability (MOOS), the Communications Officer provides communications support to promote McGill’s climate and sustainability efforts within the university community and beyond. The communications support focuses on the McGill Climate & Sustainability Strategy, the Sustainability Projects Fund (SPF), and various climate and sustainability initiatives on campus. The Communications Officer creates strategies and communications content to reach out to various internal (students, staff, faculty) and external audiences through websites, social media platforms, newsletters, videos, events, etc. in order to position McGill as a leader in sustainability and incorporate sustainability into McGill’s institutional identity.
