Role Description
Become a vital part of our dynamic Harm Reduction team. We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who thrives on providing compassionate care to individuals facing health and structural challenges.
This role allows you to practice in accordance with established professional standards and a commitment to client-centered care. As a member of the Mental Health and Substance Use teams, you will conduct assessments and provide education and support regarding complex health issues, while addressing substance use disorders and barriers to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical and psychosocial assessments
• Educate on HIV, HCV, and STI testing and treatment
• Administer medications and support overdose response
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for client care
• Develop individualized care plans for diverse clients
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with BC College of Nurses
• Class 5 Driver’s license for healthcare vehicle opera...
