Primary Duties

• Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in the student’s Individualized Support Plan (ISP).
• Support the student with social‑emotional regulation using strategies provided by the learning support team.
• Foster positive peer relationships and support the development of communication and language skills, including the use of AAC as required.
• Provide assistance with communication, mobility, and personal care needs (including toileting and feeding) as necessary, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to help create and maintain inclusive learning environments that promote active participation.
• Encourage and facilitate the student’s engagement in classroom and school‑wide activities, ensuring meaningful involvement alongside peers.
