Role Description
What You'll Be Doing
As a Market Data Support Specialist, you will ensure the delivery, integrity, and optimal performance of real‑time and historical market data for CIBC’s trading and investment teams. Your work will involve collaborating with traders, portfolio managers, quantitative analysts, IT, and external data vendors to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain market data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee low‑latency market data feeds and resolve latency issues, packet drops, and missing ticks to maintain data accuracy.
- Act as the primary contact for external data vendors and exchanges; manage entitlements, permissions, and negotiate licensing agreements.
- Maintain and optimize infrastructure related to Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and proprietary order‑management systems on Linux/Unix servers.
