Role Description
Triple West Medical have been appointed by an NHS Trust based in the North West to help recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist for a substantive or fixed term contract.
The Trust provides general acute health care residents in region along with tertiary care for digestive diseases. With over 9,000 staff and turnover of over £800m, the organisation is one of the largest in the country with multiple sites.
They are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Gastroenterologist as part of departmental expansion and continued development of specialised services. The successful candidate will be expected to work with local managers and professional colleagues in the efficient running of services and will share with consultant colleagues in the medical contribution to management.
The department receives around 1500 Outpatient appointments per year. The division also has a state of the art Endoscopy Unit with around 20,000 annual procedures.
