The mining area is located 185 km southeast of Iquique, at 4,400 meters above sea level, in Tarapacá Region. The main objective of Doña Inés de Collahuasi’s project is to increase the concentrator’s throughput capacity from an average of 170 ktpd to 210 ktpd. Currently, the awarded service corresponds to the execution of Package PG1 – the first of three packages contemplated for this project – which involves the detailed engineering and procurement (EP) of six flotation cells, and on-site support during the construction phase. Service for package PG1, which began on August 1, 2023, is a continuation of the study phase (FEL3) and is expected to be completed in February 2025.
