Control Systems Engineer at TAQA Ghana

Job Purpose

• Provide support for the power plant with the required technical leadership and hands on industrial control systems such as Distributed Control System (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface, network switches, industrial control computing system and associated instrumentation expertise

Key Activities

• Work safely by complying with TICO health and safety policy and procedures and demonstrate good safety awareness by reporting safety observations and near misses.

• Provide technical expertise and leadership in control system engineering, design, implementation, programming/configuration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in support of power plant controls and Industrial Control Systems (e.g., Distributed Control Systems “DCS”, Programmable Logic Controller systems “PLC”), along with associated control system devices, computers, communications, networks, and instrumentation.
