Role Description
Responsibilities
- Establish supplier database and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, optimize transportation routes and modes.
- Participate in new plant warehouse planning (raw material, WIP, finished goods, consumables, etc.).
- Define warehouse layout, racking solutions, flow routes, and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor inventory turnover, prevent obsolescence.
- Organize regular inventory counts (cycle counts, annual physical inventory) to ensure accuracy.
- Create shipment plans, coordinate production, warehouse, and logistics for on-time delivery.
- Interface with JIS/JIT systems, ensure sequenced shipment accuracy.
- Handle customer order changes, urgent orders, and delivery exceptions.
- Manage daily use, maintenance, and annual inspection of forklifts and other special equipment (pallet jacks, lift platforms, etc.).
