Role Description
This position is responsible for providing leadership and coordination for projects and services related to their area. The Coordinator is responsible for the planning and development, oversight and direction, training and implementation of ongoing projects and services. The Coordinator is a member of the faculty librarian team and works in collaboration and cooperation with them in the approval and implementation of project proposals/charters, policy initiatives and planning priorities. The position reports to the Director, Library and Learning Centre. The Coordinator will spend approximately 50 percent of time in the Coordinator’s role, and the other 50 percent as a Public Services Librarian, with duties outlined in that job description. This position is a faculty position and is therefore covered by the Collective Agreement between the College and the Vancouver Community College Faculty Association.
