Credit Recovery Account Officer (9 Month Contract)

Overview

Credit Recovery Account Officer is a collection-focused role, responsible for minimizing monthly delinquencies and maximizing recoveries through a variety of collection techniques. You will be responsible for managing the collections and recovery activities for all 30+ day delinquent non-mortgage secured retail credit facilities including loans, lines of credit (LOCs), VISA cards, and retail unauthorized overdrafts and LOCs in excess of approved limits. This role also includes handling all third-party demands and actioning Insolvencies (Bankruptcies/Consumer Proposals/Credit Counseling) issued to Meridian Credit Union.

Credit Recovery Activities

Responsible for the technical and functional execution of collection and recovery activities for all 30+ day delinquent non-mortgage secured retail credit facilities, including branch unauthorized overdrafts and LOCs in excess of approved limits within assigned authorities.
